Finding a Career Path
that Fits You

approach

Introduction to the Team:

As soon as you arrive, a “Sherpa” will serve as a guide during your first few days at Kepler. You will have the opportunity to meet your new colleagues in a more casual environment (i.e. welcome breakfast, lunch with the entire team, informative meetings with the partners,). Your first project will be assigned to you (typically) within two weeks of your start date.

Coaching:

Upon assignment, you will work alongside a manager or director, taking their direction and tutelage. We strongly believe in learning by doing and during the first year your manager or director will be highly invested in your work.  Slowly, you’ll gain more autonomy to work more independently.  We organize regular evaluation periods, to track progress and set expectations (milestones set at the start of the project, end of project audit, mid-year assessment, end of year evaluation).

Training:

We encourage your professional development by creating a training program that combines lessons on industry specific expertise and units based on consulting skills (communication, public speaking, project management). Over time, you will be offered training focused more specifically on business development.

International Exposure:

Kepler’s operations, which are strongly focused on international business, offer many permanent opportunities. You will be involved with projects with consultants from various Kepler offices and international partners. As such, you’ll have the opportunity to travel abroad and to join one of our offices to either support a project or to work on a more permanent basis.

Sharing & Harmonization
Two Core Principles of Kepler

approach

Sharing:

Whether it’s a project’s progress or business development news, life in the office affords the team many opportunities to share knowledge on the company’s growth. Twice a month, the “K-lunch”gives the team the chance to present their project updates in detail. Each month, we hold a meeting where we present current and new engagements, provide up to date company financials, as well as a summary of the main events taking place across all of Kepler’s locations.

Harmonization:

Beyond the above mentioned, Kepler also hosts several events outside of the office geared towards harmonization and team building, e.g. hosted buffet during the monthly operations meeting, Christmas and Summer dinners / cocktail events, theater nights, sporting events, etc.. Additionally each year, consultants from all the Kepler offices gather in a sunny place for a learning seminar mixed with a range of fun activities, discoveries, and team building opportunities.

Employment Opportunities

Interested in joining Kepler? Below is a list of the criteria we are seeking amongst potential candidates, namely college students set to graduate, recent graduates, and experienced consultants.

Desired Candidates

Students and Young Graduates: We are actively recruiting consultants with either business or engineering school degrees. We seek candidates that are independent, creative, as well as adept at integrating with a team of experienced professionals.

Experienced Consultants: We are seeking consultants who have significant experience (4+ years) in working with another management consulting firm and who have experience in one of our functional expertise. Operational experience is a valued asset.

Kepler’s Three Step Recruitment Process:

  1. Schedule an introductory interview with one partner / director from Kepler so that we can better understand your experience and career goals. This is also an opportunity for you to understand our business and familiarize yourself with Kepler’s vision.
  2. This interview will take place physically with two partners and will focus mainly on a candidate’s aptitude and skill. During this time, the candidate will be asked to present a potential solution for 1-2 sample projects.
  3. The third interview will be more informal and will allow you to meet with a consultant from the Kepler team.  You can use this time to learn more about daily life at Kepler, their experience on project’s, travel, etc.
